9 Weeks Old

Just a quick update on our sweet baby Joseph. He is doing excellent! He is 9 weeks old and had his 2 month checkup just last week where he got his first round of shots. Yes, I cried but after a few snuggles we were both ok again. He is now 12lbs and 23 inches long and growing like a weed, literally. Fortunately, my milk supply is very well established and is keeping up with his intake. He has been sleeping through the night for a week now! YAHOO!!! It feels amazing to be getting more and more sleep finally. It wasn't an easy 8 weeks but with consistency and determination with sleep training him, Vince and I have been able to accomplish everything we set out to achieve with this little man through babywise! We definitely have a lot more to come but we feel successful about how far we've come thus far with our sweet baby. And somehow we have both kept our sanity through it all. Joseph is such a good baby, we are so blessed. He is happy and healthy and that is more than we could have asked or prayed for. He is a true gift.

Just some of the things he has accomplished/accomplishing these days.

*Puts himself to sleep in his crib
*Holding his head up more and more every day.
*Focusing on mouths when people talk
*Loves being on his belly
*Beginning to coo and talk to us. (Mornings are our chattiest)
*Smiles at mommy and daddy
*Loves bath time.
*Not quite sure of Berkeley yet. (Berkeley's not quite sure of him either)
*Size 1 diapers
*0-3 Month clothes

***AND AFTER 9 WEEKS, MOMMY HAS OFFICIALLY LOST ALL OF HER BABYWEIGHT!!!***
