Easter Time!

Holidays are never the same without being with the ones you love so Vince and I took a quick weekend trip to Tampa to be with his grandparents as well as his sisters family, and uncle. The weekend was a whirlwind to say the least with lots of time spent in the car but we enjoyed every moment of being with everyone to celebrate Easter.
Fishing seemed to be the weekends main activity since our nephews brought their poles and everyone took turns trying to catch something. The only bait available at grandma's house was hot dog. After learning how to cast his line out and "rolling" it in, Luca was so excited to catch a hot dog!
The next day we all piled in the car and drove 2.5 hours to Cape Coral to visit Vince's uncle Pete and cousin Jack who had rented a great house on the water and bonus, a pool! The boys swam their little hearts out while Laura and I bronzed in the sun and Vince and Uncle Gary pounded the Bloody Mary's. Needless to say, it was a very quiet ride back to Tampa for me.
Unfortunately, Vince and I were back on the road headed home Monday morning. Though it was a very short weekend, I'm so happy to have been able to be with family and create more wonderful memories. Now looking forward to the next visit.

Bonding time with Vince and his uncle.

And then we were thrown in.
