Today is another special day! Vince is another year older! Unfortunately, he is working on this beautiful 7th day of November, however we have much to look forward to this weekend. Since our 2nd anniversary was last week and the traditional gift is cotton, we both agreed that we should buy each other sleeping bags and my very awesome parents bought him a new tent! Thats right folks, we are headed camping this weekend to celebrate! I am so excited to have an adventurous weekend. We've only been camping together once and it was in the middle of July in the Charleston heat and sleeping in the back of his Explorer, so you can imagine how miserable we were. Now that the weather has cooled off a bit here in Louisiana, we're hoping for a perfect camping experience. I grew up camping as a child so I'm no high maintenance witch when it comes to outdoorsy fun and if you know my husband, you know that there are many faces to him, one day he's trendy Vince and the next he is outdoorsy Vince....all the reasons why I love him so much. He's always coming up with ideas for entertainment so I can only imagine what that brain will stew up in the next few days. We've been through many adventures together in such a short time, from crabbing, crawfishing, enticing me to swim to a sandbar to have a photo op with a shark, and hiking in flip flops over boulders along a Mexican coast. You are a constant reminder to enjoy life and live it to its fullest.
So Happy Birthday Vincent, thank you for being you. I love you more and more with each year!!!
