So it's been 11 months and my husband and I have finally planned a vacation/honeymoon!!! Sure, it's been a crazy year trying to get things put together and settled in our lives but seriously this vacay is waaay over due!!! Yes, we've done a lot of traveling in the 11 months of being together, LK's baptism in Tennessee, Christmas in New Mexico, a week trip to Augusta to see family, and LK's birthday in Charleston and don't get me wrong, I love visiting family every chance we can get considering they all live 10+ hours away but being married almost a year and not having a romantic getaway with my spouse has to be illegal.
We set sail on the Norwegian Spirit October 30th!!! Our anniversary is on Halloween and yes I have considering dragging my wedding dress aboard to dress up in but unfortunately my husband remembers me carrying it home on an airplane...it wasn't pleasant....I'm a little uptight about that fabulous dress, therefore it will stay home. :( However we are thinking of themes for this Halloween on a cruise! We chose this cruise because it takes us to some different places that I haven't been. Having been on 2 other cruises, I've done the Western and Eastern Carribbean. Therefore, we wanted to go somewhere interesting and creative! We are stopping in Costa Maya, Mexico, Belize City, Belize, Roatan, Honduras, and back to Cozumel, Mexico! We are so excited and can't wait to Cave Tube in Belize, visit the Mayan Ruins in Mexico and possibly take a visit to a couple tequila farms(gulp!) I'm so excited but please pray that we make it back on the ship.....my husband AKA Indiana Jones will want to do everything and I'm afraid will leave us stranded in a foreign country.
