4 Months Old

We have a roller on our hands! Joseph learned how to roll over in his crib! The first time he did it,  it made me very nervous and eventually I had to go in and help him turn back over. After that, he seemed to get the hang of what he was supposed to do. He's still sleeping on his back however and sleeps exactly like Vince sleeps with his head completely cocked around...ouch? We are practicing more and more on the floor. He can roll to his back but not to his tummy. He can only roll from his back to his tummy when he's in the crib, I think this is because he's trying to get comfortable to sleep and voila rolls over. We are very proud of him and all that he's accomplishing! We recently started him on oatmeal, which he loves! Soon I will be making baby food! For Christmas Vince and I got a Vitamix and I'm currently using it for my morning smoothies but soon it will be getting an intense workout with the babies food. Can't wait.
Lately, we are dealing with teething stuff. I've already wanted to rip my hair out. It's so frustrating seeing him in such pain and me not being able to help him. Only to give him Tylenol and my fingers to chew on. He's waking early from naptimes with low grade fevers and rosy red cheeks. This has been going on for almost 2 months now and nothing to show for it. Poor guy. Apparently I started teething at 10 weeks which happened to be around the same time he started. Looking forward to seeing a little tooth in that head and not looking forward to it.....this just means he's getting bigger and is not longer my little newborn. However, I love how alert and aware of his surrounding he is. I'm blessed that he is right on track with his development.
Today we are headed to the doctor for his 4 month checkup and a few shots....Ouchie. Wish us luck!
